About David Malinich and Music For Your Song

David started Music For Your Song in 2014 while running a professional studio for over 20 years, recording bands, songwriters, and other projects, as well as composing.  As an ASCAP member, he now has over 700 songs published, and hundreds of songs used in television and independent film around the world, including shows like The Blacklist, Dateline NBC, and past classics like America's Most Wanted.

As a multi instrumentalist, he has acted as producer, studio musician, and audio engineer on thousands of client recordings. He also worked with the artist NF for a few years at the start of his career, and even an American Idol finalist.

David has played live music in many bands, and acted as a musician on hundreds of client recordings.

David endeavors to always stay on top of current trends, and keeps many of the lates and greatest innovations in recording technology, software and equipment.  He has numerous hours in seminars across the US and countless hours of ongoing study.

David has an excellent array of instruments, including many guitars, including a few from PRS, plus Taylor, Gretsch, Fender, Ibanez, and Martin, as well as some folk instruments, and various keyboards.  He uses amp captures (the actual sound of the amp in the room, worth a Google search if you're interested) on board a cutting edge device with amps like Fender's Deluxe Reverb and many others, Marshalls, Mesa, Bognar, Matchless, Vox, etc.  Beyond this, he has very innovative and high end virtual instrument software for producing high end samples, which are captured through live recordings of the actual instrument. David accesses these by playing them expressively through a midi keyboard- (he even has an 1826 Stradivarius)!  His collection of virtual instruments has multiple thousands of instruments, synthesizers, world instruments, and incredible drums and percussion performed by real drummers on real kits.
