Music Production
At Music For Your Song, we are a full-fledged production company, helping clients create top-quality tracks that stand out from the crowd. The heart of everything we do is creating unique, custom music, centered around your song, in the genre of your choice, with input from you all along the way. Almost any instrument imaginable can be used to craft your song (kazoo anyone?), starting with real instruments, or high end samples for more unique choices.
Post Production
Music For Your Song is owned and operated by an experienced producer and audio engineer, with over 25 years of studio experience. The post production process makes your songs big, shiny, and professional sounding, and a very necessary part of the song. Using cutting edge film score quality production equipment and software, you can count on your song's production being the highest quality possible. We work closely with our clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through our creative process.
Additional Services Available
- Transcribing: One of our specialties, if needed. This is the act of composing a set of chords, in a given key, around your melody, necessary for music production.
- Vocal timing and alignment: Minor revisions in timing are part of post production, but for some, a little more help is needed.
- Chord sheets or Piano score: available for purchase
- Phone consultation: We'll initially consult through email, and possible text, however, there may be times phone calls are necessary or desired to discuss resources. If longer calls are desired, there is a nominal fee.

Please read the following:
- All music production completed for clients is on a "work for hire" basis - clients retain ALL rights to their music.
- Typical turnaround for music production, post production, and most other services varies depending on the size and complexity of the project, and will be determined at the time of the initial song consultation. It can be sooner, but most projects are started in a week or less of payment, and typically created within a few days from start.
- While MFYS endeavors for its clients to be well satisfied with all work completed, ALL sales are final. There are no refunds on electronically delivered merchandise such as music production. Initial planning and qualifying of the work desired, nominal tweaks and controlled revision costs will be implemented to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
